About RIOT Manual Therapy

RIOT Manual Therapy: The Movement To Get You Moving

The foundation of RIOT Manual Therapy is simple: we want to help alleviate symptoms by addressing the root of the problem. How we do that is a little more complicated but ultimately incredibly effective. Other treatments are usually focused on the symptom of dysfunction: pain.

Just like a firefighter wouldn’t run into a burning building and go after the smoke alarm, we look for the fire causing the smoke or, in our case, the dysfunction causing the pain. When we address pain at its root, we allow the body to restore itself to optimal health and function. RIOT is a whole-body approach that has revolutionized the lives of so many, find out how it can change yours.

Meet our team:
Manual Therapists Ready To Start a RIOT!

We’re sick of dead ends and we know you are too. We’re in the business of getting to the bottom of things and getting you moving again.

Having maintained a waiting list for over four years, Robert decided to expand BodyworX and train the next generation of rockstar manual therapists. With specific treatment protocols, his manual therapists have been able to provide life-changing treatment from day one. Robert is excited about the expanded ability to help those in need and looks forward to contributing to a shift in how we approach pain management.

Robert Rafajko

Therapist

Whitney is already an established expert in the bodywork industry. Whitney has done massage therapy for over 20 years and has been virtually impossible to get into due to how successful she is as a therapist. Most of Whitney’s years as a therapist, she successfully ran and operated a massage therapy business in Lehi, where she mentored and coached over 8 massage therapists.

Whitney’s training in Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) has since prepped her for easier labor, helped her father-in-law avoid spinal fusion, and assisted various family members.

Britney is a skilled manual therapist blending her hands-on experience and personal passion for understanding the body. Her path began in a chiropractor’s office as a massage therapist, driven by her desire to help people find relief from pain. However, as she worked in that environment, Britney started to notice its limitations and felt there must be more effective options for those seeking lasting healing.

Robert Rafajko

Robert grew up in American Fork, Utah, playing sports and engaging in outdoor activities with his friends. Through sports, he discovered his passion for helping heal the human body. Initially, he planned to become a doctor and work as a nurse while attending medical school. However, while in nursing school, he quickly realized that he did not enjoy working in a hospital setting and preferred to focus on preventative care rather than addressing problems after they arose.

He decided to pursue corrective exercise as a personal trainer and did that successfully for six years. Then everything changed when he was injured performing front flips into a foam pit, tearing two discs in his neck. After spending thousands of dollars and nearly a year undergoing chiropractic and physical therapy care, he was referred to an osteopathic manual therapist who resolved his issues in three sessions. This therapist became his mentor, and Robert joined her in osteopathic manual therapy classes.

After completing massage therapy school, Robert founded RIOT Manual Therapy and has helped thousands of clients using osteopathic techniques. From disc issues to migraines and from athletes to babies, Robert has witnessed osteopathic treatment change people’s lives when other methods have failed.

Having maintained a waiting list for over four years, Robert decided to expand RIOT Manual Therapy and train the next generation of rockstar manual therapists. With specific treatment protocols, his manual therapists have been able to provide life-changing treatment from day one. Whitney Dahl

Whitney’s journey RIOT Manual Therapy started over 8 years ago. When I was getting trained in Osteopathic manipulation, I shared that passion and knowledge with her, and she instantly knew that this is what she wanted to do. Over the years Whitney has attended multiple manual therapy classes and has been performing manual therapy treatments for years. Unfortunately, running a massage business limited her ability to go all in. She is now ALL IN! Whitney has stepped away from her massage therapy business and is exclusively diving headfirst into Osteopathic treatment here at RIOT Manual Therapy.

Whitney Davis

Whitney grew up in Riverton, UT, and has enjoyed living in Alabama and Florida with her Southern gentleman husband and their busy toddler. Her interest in manual therapy evolved over the years and was especially piqued in the summer of 2020 when she saw first hand  the benefits of Robbie’s techniques during her husband’s RIOT manual therapy sessions. Whitney’s training in Osteopathic Manual Therapy (OMT) has since prepped her for easier labor, helped her father-in-law avoid spinal fusion, and assisted various family members. Whitney began with a foot zone certification, obtained a massage therapy license, and undertook extensive OMT training. She now works with Robbie, believing in the transformative power of this therapy. Whitney finds it incredibly rewarding to facilitate such positive changes for others, having experienced its life-changing impact on her and her family.

Britney Nordfors

Britney is a skilled manual therapist blending her hands-on experience and personal passion for understanding the body. Her path began in a chiropractor’s office as a massage therapist, driven by her desire to help people find relief from pain. However, as she worked in that environment, Britney started to notice its limitations and felt there must be more effective options for those seeking lasting healing.

Her perspective transformed when her own father began receiving care at RIOT Manual Therapy. Observing the profound impact of manual therapy firsthand, she witnessed its unique ability to address underlying issues rather than just symptoms. This experience was a turning point for Britney; she knew that manual therapy was what she had been searching for.

With over three years of hands-on experience and a continual drive to expand her knowledge, Britney is committed to helping clients achieve genuine wellness. Her fascination with the science of anatomy drives her to stay informed and approach each client with a deep understanding of the body’s healing potential. Outside of work, Britney finds joy in hiking and camping with her husband and young daughter, bringing that same spirit of adventure and care to her practice.

With Britney, you’re not only in the hands of a professional but a compassionate therapist dedicated to empowering your body to heal itself, addressing the root cause of discomfort, and supporting your journey toward a life free from pain.
