Some in the pain treatment world will specialize in a specific part of the body, but because we understand nothing in the body works independently of everything else, we don’t specialize in a specific area. Your back pain might actually be caused by your tight hips, and if we only look at your back we might miss the root cause: your hips. Finding the root of your pain helps us alleviate it for the long term, not just as a bandaid.
We don’t specialize in one specific type of pain/symptom; we work with the whole body. This allows us to serve clients suffering from a wide variety of pain and issues including:
If you don’t see your specific issue on this list, it doesn’t mean that we cannot treat it. These are just some of the many symptoms/issues we have helped our clients with here are RIOT Manual Therapy.
Our goal at RIOT Manual Therapy is to find the root cause of your pain, then, fix the dysfunction that causes it in as few appointments as possible.
Before your appointment, complete your Health History Document and review and sign the Office Policies Document. Email both of these forms to your manual therapist prior to your first appointment.
Wear comfortable clothing, preferably a T-shirt and pants that have an elastic waistband (no jeans!) At the end of the appointment, you will get a customized home program to help you progress outside of the treatment.
Remember, we are customizing a plan for your specific needs. In order to do so, we need you to provide a full picture of your health. We rely on you to give us the necessary information to help find the root cause of your pain and create a customized plan to get you back to your full function.
Returning patients can expect personalized/progressive treatment throughout their time with RIOT Manual Therapy. As treatment progresses, we will assess the dysfunctions we have treated and dive into the deeper layers of dysfunction that are contributing to your symptoms. Then, we will update your home program to match the treatment performed that day. This ensures that every treatment builds on the work done previously, getting you back to living your life on your terms.
We will also recommend lifestyle and exercise changes as you progress. As you continue to improve, we will work with you on how to create habits that will maintain our progress and prepare you for future results.
Our patients are our best referrals, telling friends and family with chronic pain to try RIOT. While we might be able to explain our holistic approach, including how to find the root of your pain, ultimately, our patients tell us how effective treatment is. LIFE CHANGING!! I was having consistent back pain, and going to a chiropractor weekly and could never get it fixed. After two sessions with Robert it was fixed.
Absolutely amazing service! This wasn't your typical chiropractic adjustment but a skilled manipulation of muscles and body signals. It's like my body realigned itself naturally. I can't remember the last time my back was this pain-free. It feels almost surreal to be without pain. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a natural and effective way to ease discomfort and get your body working like it should.

At RIOT Manual Therapy, we know that pain is an indication of dysfunction, not necessarily the problem itself. Pain is a warning sign, saying, “There’s a problem here, please help!” By addressing the root cause of your pain, we ensure that your body can function optimally. Approaching the body as a single unit rather than many separate parts, we can see how each system and part of the body interact and rely on each other.
We consider the bones, muscles, organs, fascia, nerves, etc, to be cohesive systems that, when working together and functioning properly, won’t cause pain or symptoms. When those systems aren’t in balance or have been injured, we use all of those systems to ensure long-term results. A holistic, whole-body approach allows us to see the whole picture and, thus, the whole problem.
